How to Measure outdoors with a Leica Disto?

When there are cloudy weather conditions or twilight there will be less problems seeing the laser dot for measuring.  If there is a lot of sun you will hardly be able to see the laser for measuring.

1.  Back lit display - A small thing, but useful if you are measuring in doors in a dark room or space.  Many models, like the Disto E7300 have a small photo sensor that switches the   backlight on and off automatically.

Seeing the laser dot for inside measuring is no problem. Taking the laser distance meter outside is a different story.
